The Novarc team is made up of engineers, software developers, welders and robotic enthusiasts (yes, they exist) with automation and robotic specializations. With extensive experience in the robotics automation industry, we draw inspiration from engineering projects that were previously written off as impossible. Because we’ve worked everywhere from agile startups to enterprise corporations, we believe in innovation, collaboration and making a meaningful impact.

Soroush Karimzadeh, MBA, P.Eng., PMP

CEO & Co-Founder

Soroush is the CEO at Novarc Technologies. Previously, he was a Product Manager at Autopro Automation, managing industrial automation projects for oil and gas and mining companies. Prior to this, he was a project engineer at Kruger Products, designing, developing and implementing automated systems for paper machines and converting lines. Before Kruger, Soroush founded and lead a startup technology company creating a novel SaaS CRM platform and also helped as development associate for a National Investment Banking Conference. Soroush holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from University of British Columbia and has passed all three levels of the CFA program. He holds a Master of Applied Science in electrical engineering from University of British Columbia and a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

Reza Abdollahi Chief Technology Officer, Director of Engineering, Novarc Technologies

Reza Abdollahi, P. Eng.

CTO & Co-Founder

Reza has more than 30 years of experience in robotics and machine design. Before founding Novarc in 2013, he served at Roboweld as the chief engineer for 10 years where he designed fixed automation products and robotic solutions using Fanuc and Motoman 6-axis robots. His other positions include co-founder, managing director and chief engineer at Part Mashad where he designed and built stick welding production lines and roll forming machines. He is an accomplished mechanical engineer specializing in advanced automation and robotics. Reza holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashad.
